i disagree re foran, merrin, NZ boys and lafai. they've all still been good in losing sides.
mccrone? he was never really a money spending signing

hodkinson maybe, but i still like the mullen/hodkinson combo
watmough at the eels, ayshford at warriors, hopoate at dogs.. i think all were pretty bad signings. too early to call on ballin, but it'd be funny if robbie gets dropped from origin and we're left with cherry/farah/halatau/ballin all available

RTS looked okay last week, scored the winning try. Taupau has been okay. He almost got Manly over the line against us by himself.

Seeing that transition people think they can come up with their own and as successful but what they are forgetting is he is a master coach with a good eye for talent.

Anyway, this year i cant think of dud buys other than Ballin but Adam Blair comes to mind when he did sign with us
