Your top 17, Season 2016

I think Woodsie will be learning the captain's job on the run and the team could suffer accordingly, I would not expect props to be fast learners.

1\. Tedesco

Pascoe was talking about our hookers in an interview (farah, ballin, cherrington, liddle)

Said all 4 are pushing for first grade in 2016 and all four can play different positions

Good side.

I have my doubts about Sironen however. Maybe Griffin to start ( he can play for 80 ) and Sironen off the bench. But I would prefer Edwards.

Can't see Liddle getting a shot this year, at all….
Maybe in the 9's but first grade, no way.

Maybe just didn't wanna leave him out when dropping the names.
We're well covered for #9 though

Four hookers will be to much for the tigers

I suspect we'll see Ballin/Farah in 9 and 13\. Not sure who in which, but I suspect both will be in the starting 13.

Here it is for anyone who wants

"Matt's been a terrific acquisition," Pascoe said.

"He's brought a great presence, leadership qualities and is mentoring the younger guys."

The side isn't short of hookers, with youngsters Manaia Cherrington and Jacob Liddle also aiming to get their crack at first grade in 2016.

"When you speak about Robbie and Matt, you've got to speak of Cherrington and Liddle, who also need mentoring and leadership," Pascoe said.

"All four players can adapt and play other positions."

Ballin was always going to be apart of the plans. You don't sign a player of his experience to play reserve grade.

If he was going to play reserve grade i do not think he would have signed with us and it is also a waste of experience.

He would have been told Farah would be gone - he might not have signed to play reserves but that's where he'll likely end up.

Dam Farah gets his way again.

Does anyone know how Ballin is travelling fitness wise?
I thought he had an op at the end of 2015 and wasn't expected to be fit for the first 3-4 games. Then the plan was to have him gaining match fitness for a couple of games in NSW Cup. Then coming in off the bench and taking over from Robbie during Origin. I might have that wrong as I'm not sure of the extent of the injury.

Woodsy understands the game, he'll be fine.
