If he does knock us back, I think Morris will be targeted next, if Sheens wants a development coach Morris would be the next one to fit that category if we don’t get Ciraldo, Flanno wouldn’t need developing he just needs a gig
I don’t think we’ll get him if Ciraldo says no, I reckon Morris will be next for us to try and get if we don’t land CC

We're not looking to sign CC because he will bring talented youngsters with him (though no one would complain if he does!). We have the talented youngsters already at the club and have systems in place to keep developing our junior pathways into the future. We need a captain to steer that ship, which is why CC is a target as he's been playing that role at the Panthers for a while now.
I’d be happy if he could bring over Liam Martin, but I get your point have to wait and see who we get though as coach if we really want a development coach, only CC and Morris fit the bill

That's my impression.
He wouldn't do a barrettand bring as many Panther players over as possible.
Seems an ethical bloke he'd be trying to develop our own and let Panthers be.
True, but his relationship with the Penrith players would stand the Tigers in good stead, should any be forced out by salary cap pressure.

I'd honestly prefer flannaghan, just a huge gamble on a coach who's untested. No doubt he knows what he's doing but just not sure if Ciraldo could handle the other pressures of being the Tigers coach. The knock on Flannighan is his past, he does need Sheens to keep him on a tight leesh, on the up side it shows he has a win at all cost mentality. Something we have not had for who knows how long.

Man whatever it is in the strength and conditioning department , if we can get someone to maximise that side of our game , then hire that bloke .
People like junior tatola , Nathan brown , etc have proven we seriously lack/ lacked something in that degree. Maybe it’s the protein powders we are using , or maybe it’s the gym equipment . Either way on the weekend showed how much power we in general are lacking .

If Ciraldo is not willing to back himself because Gould, Kent, Crawley, Anasta, John’s & Co. are in his ear then maybe he’s not the man we thought he was.
His coaching style is refreshing for the players and I hope he comes but he needs to make his own leap of faith, we’ve rolled out the red carpet for him but if he would rather Gus read him a bedtime story about the coaching graveyard and half a dozen players that will walk now that Madge was shown the door then maybe we look to a visionary, not a puppet on a string.
I’m hoping he comes but I see too many Negative Nancies in the media that would be happy with a 4 team competition where they play each other 6 times throughout the season, then they could recycle their stories more frequently then make up the rest over a game of ‘spin the bottle’ … that crap about us luring Todd Payten back as coach died as quickly as it rose - no integrity whatsoever, Same old dribble which heaps praise on the mighty and be done with the rest!
