The best that money can buy.The interesting thing is undoubtedly Roosters have rorted the system for years and bought the best players available and fitted them under the cap...and still cant make the gf
Have bought nothing this year unless u count Chad Townsend(!!)...and have lost a lot
I reckon Politis has hung the coach out to dry..for the talent hes had as his disposal hes a serial under achiever
One bad year this year and Robbo will be goooone..part of Politis' grand plan
You dont become a billionaire without a plan..but who will be his replacement??
Just saying what my experience was; I found it interesting how invested I was with the club I was with having supported another as a kid.I don't know who his parents supported. Never met the guy or his parents.
Just saying you're making a lot of assumptions when players seem to just do things on a case by case basis. Juniors, parents, blah blah doesn't seem to make a material difference in whether they stay or go.
It seems to be results, coach and money above all else and not necessarily in that order.
But you hit the nail on the head.....whatever
On average he makes and wins a GF every 4 years. The interesting thing is undoubtedly Roosters have rorted the system for years and bought the best players available and fitted them under the cap...and still cant make the gf

That's a very interesting point. You have no place here! The interesting thing is undoubtedly Roosters have rorted the system for years and bought the best players available and fitted them under the cap...and still cant make the gf

When is Klem joining The Dragqueens?
If he is drawn away we do have replacements............and could save us a lot of money trying to match the other desperate offers [think $800k for Steph.]Depending on if he wants to stay yes, but if he is sitting on the fence the more money from another club will probably draw him away.
just thinking closest I can think of is knights took a great gamble on pongaTotally agree Tucker, only takes one desperate club willing to take a risk on potential for them to start throwing money at him. We did it for years, paying overs for potential. We were desperate for success and thought it was our way out of mediocrity at the time.
Yes. Thanks for sharingJust saying what my experience was; I found it interesting how invested I was with the club I was with having supported another as a kid.
Different time, different situation.
Got plenty of estrogen from his mother.Woodsy is a flog, obviously didn’t get his smarts from his mother
No problem. I like to share my experiences with people whose only semblance of achieving anything is done vicariously.Yes. Thanks for sharing
No one is" attacking" anybody..no one: "hates"anybody..blah blah..its just an hypotheses ..aka a wild ass guess..putting the facts together, which I find unusual for a well managed team like RoostersOn average he makes and wins a GF every 4 years.
Its funny that someone from our supporter base is attacking another coach for being an under achiever.
He wont be gone after a bad year this year. They are in a re-build. Theyll also probably finish higher than we will.
Brown will be a 6 for the full 10 years barring injury. I can't see Galvin being a 6 for any more than another 4 years max. Any one offering a 10 yr deal at 12 mil or more for Galvin is taking a huge risk on those final 6 years as he transitions to lock/backrow.I'm not hyping him
Gould is.
The league world is - Andrew Johns, Cam Smith, Billy slater.
If Dylan Brown can get a ten year $12M offer -- Galvin will get way more.
In the trial last week Galvin was a constant threat. And he's only 19.
Someone will bank on him to be a franchise player - and they'll pay stupid money to grab him.
Dennisspicer1 has hit the nail on the head. Totally correct. When Tedesco was on the market Tigers offered him over $1.1m per season. Teddy told his teammates that the Roosters $ offer blew the Tigers out of the water. But then the Roosters put out their usual bullcrap that Teddy signed for less money to play with a better team. Then they register his contract at way under a million but Teddy gets paid his $1.2m And also as you rightly say when players leave the Rorters they suddenly claim it creates huge space in their cap - but wait uncle Nick? Didn’t you say you were paying him low $ when you signed him? Anyone who believes the tripe put out by the Rorters about what they pay players is a dope. Read Malcolm Knox’s many articles about how the Rorters cheat the salary cap - but of course the NRL never ever investigates them. NRL Integrity Unit? Ha ha ha ha ha!!!
I think you are overlooking the point that I try to make,
That point being, he went to the Rorters and got more than we offered, it just was not declared by the Roosters.
Have people not noticed how many players roosters get for less than other clubs offer, but then a few years later when East are letting them go they state Roosters are letting a player leave the club, that will free up 1ml of our cap money, but his original contract they signed him on we were told was only $600.000 a season.
Black White and Gold gogglesIf they pay that much money, they’ll lose their job.
I don’t know why people compare Galvin to Brown…even suggesting Lachy will command more.
We went over this a few weeks ago. Brown has largely earnt his payday. Galvin has not in any way shape or form done so yet.
Bellamy, decides to have one last year in Sydney at Roosters.... lolThe interesting thing is undoubtedly Roosters have rorted the system for years and bought the best players available and fitted them under the cap...and still cant make the gf

That goes without saying. You don’t leave home without it.That's right: a bucket of cash.
Teddy the mofo has about $500k worth of false teeth in mouth too. I wonder if that was a 3rd party dealDennisspicer1 has hit the nail on the head. Totally correct.
