Adam Doueihi #227

The Doueihi family questioning how appreciated he'd be at WTs, HA I hope they arent for real. If they think the Roosters care about him then they are as thick as planks. The Roosters will wipe him as soon as Billy Smith returns or Xerri signs. He'd be considered an integral part of our team, yet an understudy or back up option at the Roosters. I try not to buy into these articles but when they 💩can WTs it revs me up.

A WT trainer told me last week that the players are laughing at Doueihi asking 500k plus and would be filthy if we signed him for that. Opinion at training is we already have at least equal potential already on no where near what he's asking. If he signs for massive overs and we end up pissing off every other young gun we've got we've shot ourselves in the foot (again). He was VERY doubtful Doueihi would sign.

I applaud the Tigers for finally standing strong on the evaluation.

All I have read for the last 2 seasons is how reckless and irresponsible the club has been with paying overs for players ... fast forward to today it’s all about pay this guy anything to get him at the club .. honestly words fail !?Doueihi is not worth that price simple the club is doing the right thing ..

I agree. We shouldn't be at the beck and call of players.

This has been a confusing off season at times

I am sure the players all sit around at lunch and talk about how much coin they are on, as I know that is a good morale boost. I thought we were way past the players dictating terms. Doueihi is entitled to every cent that Souths were going to pay him. If he takes less but we sign him for an extra year, then that appears to me to be a good compromise.

Doueihi is due to meet with his agent Sam Ayoub this morning where they will sit down and discuss the pros and cons of both offers before making a final decision.
Now let’s see?
At the Roosters he could get a few games while waiting for Smiths return, then sit on the bench.
Or?
At the WT he could have a no.1 jersey and go about proving Souths made a bad move.
