A 3.5 year deal would suggest we're letting him go in the next couple of weeks.

We've only just started starting the kid. Why would we be doing that if we were about to let him go so soon? There are other backline reshuffles which are possible and we'd just keep him in nsw cup.

That alone suggests it's just rumours. The fact it's posted by some random user that rarely posts doesn't lend a lot of credibility either.

He's had a contract offer from them for a while now. One presumes we've at least offered him something too. If we can re-sign MCK we can re-sign JAC. The money is there. With Lawrence re-signing there's even more space for next season to move things around.

I'm not some random user, I don't post often only because I like reading what other people on the forum have to say and what is going on in the club, I know there are people on here that are closer to club than me but I can tell you it's true I wouldn't have posted that he has signed with the storm unless I knew it was from a good source, if I'm wrong then you can say I'm a liar, and il go confront JAC's dad's best mate, because I work with him

I work with JACs mums best mate and she said that he's spreading the storm rumour to drive his price up and he only wants to sign with the Tigers. If I'm wrong you can call me a liar, I don't care

I hope his mums best friend is more truthful than his dads best friend, because we really can't afford to lose another gun winger.
JT playing other non performing players ahead of him earlier in the year didn't help our chances of keeping him, but now JT really can't drop him back to NSW Cup, that would be the worst move he has made and he has made some doozies in his time here.

No I think Ballin has the 14 spot wrapped up, Rankin should unfortunately be dropped with Halatau when Teddy returns, Kev lifted his game tonight and so did Noffa, so I think Rankin misses out.

You can't go into NRL games with a third string goal kicker , its as simple as that

If someone has a better idea come forward with it , I'm sure JT wishes he has an answer

I could well be totally wrong, but I had the opposite impression. You don't normally say that you are "excited" about a player certain to leave.

Same here. JAC is only currently contracted to the end of this year so what JT said was relevant to current situation

Thats how I saw it too Happy. JT also seem initially uncomfortable to talk about him. I suspect he is gone.

Oh well. You can't pay overs for wingers.

Pretty sure that's where he is headed if teddy comes back. hate to say it but he's not going to start over Rankin unfortunately. Kid could be anything in the future and were just going to let him walk by all accounts.
