An update on my Hungarian mate. The drugs they have given him have worked miracles and is now testing negative for COVID. He is still crook and has bad pneumonia but the virus has been stopped and wont progress.

He just has to recover from the pneumonia.

Great. Good chance he would have been gone had he gotten a similar viral load six to nine months ago, so like many, probably owes his life to modern medicine.

Oxygen alone saves so many from pneumonia, so would be interesting to know the numbers that it has saved from a covid related lung ailment.

Yeah I agree. Seems they have some good drugs for it now, doesnt seem to get publicised much. Probably for good reason with some of the politicising and conspiracy theories surrounding the virus.

Thank you and everyone for your well wishes, I have been really worried about him. He is a great bloke. He and another friend of mine founded The White Cross Animal Protection League in Hungary (Their RSPCA). In the last 10 years he has established a massive programme where he rescues Bears from all over the world from circuses and other captivity, rehabilitates them, re-educates them and the releases them onto a 400Acre property where they live out their days free in the wild. he does the same thing with Wolves which are routinely killed to protect stock.

Two years ago I visited his program and got to interact with the Wolves and one young bear. Incredible experience and he is a great man.

This is him with Lilu, the bear that he is currently rehabilitating and the one I got to interact with. Lilu was 9 months old when her mum was shot and she was brought to Pisti. When I met Lilu, I was inducted with safety instructions. Unlike a wolf, bears have no facial expression and a bear that is about to attack looks the same as a happy bear so I was on edge. Then I am told that because Lilu was so young when she was left alone, she will not eat unless she gets to suck on your hand first. It is a very unsettling feeling to stick your hand in bears mouth intentionally, but then she will happily feed. Lilu will possibly never get to go into the wild with the other bears and wolves as she seems too attached to humans.

Interaction with the wolves was an incredible experience. you learn so much, everything is about the pack and hierachy. Unlike the stereotype, the alpha is ALWAYS female and she decides who can enter the pack. I was allowed to be with them. My partner and stepdaughter were not able to because the alpha can smell they are female and wont let them in. Once in you have to squat down low with your hands on the ground and the alpja will come over and sniff you and walk around you. Once she licks you the rest of the pack comes over.

Sorry for the long travel stories, but I am very relieved he is on the mend.

Wow, you've been incredibly privileged to experience such nature intimately. I don’t think many people appreciate the sheer physical presence of a wolf, let alone a forest bear.

Fingers crossed Pisti pulls through this last barrier, as his important work in helping these severely encroached species makes his life that bit more important than most.

Very good news about your friend, however pneumonia is not so easy to get over, so he still has a bit of a battle ahead.

Very best wishes to him for a speedy recovery.

The pictures of the bear brought a smile to my face, reminded me of the bear in the ice cream truck in Borat.

Absolute classic.

With a few exceptions (countries like Brazil) new daily infection numbers across the globe are falling off a cliff, they've pretty much halved in the space of a month. The vaccine rollout is clearly making a difference.

It's been a few days since my last ":warning: DANGEROUS VACCINE!" update....

1,513,518 more people vaccinated here since my last post.
That’s 10,490,487 people who’ve received the first does of either the Pfizer (mRNA) or Oxford (viral vector) vaccines.

Still no unusual issues reported.

In fact since my last post Oxford University have published preliminary results indicating that their vaccine reduces transmissibility by around 70%. So not only does the vaccine stop serious infections, it also helps stop other people getting it too.

I wonder where these alarmists all are now?

Also the **Zoe/Imperial College London** study which has been running since march and has 4.5 million participants (including me!) released *ACTUAL* (as opposed to some random YouTuber) findings today about the side effects of the vaccines.

40,000 people who've had the vaccine so far contributed to this sub-study. Most of them were medical professionals (so they would know what to look for)

- 37% experienced some local "after-effects", such as pain or swelling near the site of the injection, after their first dose, rising to about 45% of the 10,000 who had received two doses

- 14% had at least one whole-body (systemic) after-effect - such as fever, aches or chills - within seven days of the first dose, rising to about 22% after the second dose

This is exactly what we would expect to happen. After the first dose your body is taught about the spike protein, so when it sees it the second time it mounts a stronger immune response. In other words, it's doing exactly what we want and need it to do!

From the BBC:
>These after-effects resolved within a few days.
And all of the medical trials and real-world experiences so far suggest the vaccines are safe and effective.
>
>Doctors do say people with a history of significant allergic reactions, rather than general allergies, should not have the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine or the similar Moderna vaccine, however, because of a small number of allergic reactions needing treatment.
>Safety checks will continue around the globe.
And in the UK, people can report concerns to the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency's Yellow Card scheme.

Let's see if old mate from Youtube submits anything to the Yellow Card scheme.

Exactly. It's a vaccine and all vaccines can produce an immune response. It's normal.

Hopefully they start rolling the vaccines out in Australia and across the whole world soon. We might get on top of this virus this year.

I realise this will inflame the room and I’m sorry for that in advance but there are definitely some interesting numbers here which ask a number of questions
It definitely questions the prevailing view in this chat and that should never be something to run away from or censor
I think it presents some interesting information on the topic of Covid and deserves consideration

You may find it interesting but i see it as more misinformation which only confuses people.Yes i read it and it is the same as your usual fake news

I hope you are not taking advantage of the people risking all for this. I noticed this,

"We appreciate your support

Every month by paying your TV license you donate £13.33 to the BBC who broadcast government propaganda and lies. Why not support 'The Daily Expose' in their mission to report the facts that the mainstream refuse to instead?"

I think most people see these sort of statements as a red flag, but I am assuming that you would see them as evidence that they contain the truth.

Let's say it's true..what if one of those 9 deaths a day in the age group was your mother, father, sister, brother or spouse..and/or that number would increase had people not stayed home..no biggy..cause they only had a few years left anyway..?

Why is the Daily Expose asking for money..?

I can not take any article seriously when it uses language like

"This fact is deeply troubling when we apply it to the fact the majority of people in the Covid death statistics are statistically for want of a better phrase “**past their sell by date**” anyway."

What a terrible way to discuss this issue.

The whole premise of the article - that it's 'just' old people dying of other causes - is debunked by the number of excess deaths in Britain roughly matching the number of official covid deaths. In 2020 there were over 70,000 'excess deaths' in England and Wales.

Also, it's hard to take a publication seriously whose very title is grammatically incorrect.

Is it just any article which isn’t in line with the almost unanimous view in here that will result in censorship? Are you that certain you are right and that this information was wrong?

Surely we are clever enough and confident enough to read the information and make our own conclusions?

Anyone with half a brain knows what you're posting is rubbish and you'd think you would have learned after spending a week on the sidelines for posting such nonsense. But hey, if you want to tempt fate, go right ahead and post something else made up by some conspiracy theorist backed up with no evidence - because I'll sure as hell make sure you don't do it again on this forum.

An update on my Hungarian mate. He got kicked out of hospital today. I say kicked out because he is not ready but they need the bed. He has been sent home with pneumonia but strict instructions to lie still in bed on one side, then the other. He said he got out of bed yesterday and tried to walk the corridor, but got to the corridor and the entire corridor had gurneys with corpses.

Hungary has half the population of Aus but a massive part of that population is concentrated in Budapest. The hospitals arent coping. 60-100 deaths a day.

Interesting story about how he caught it as well. As I said early, I know Pisti because he and another good friend of mine, founded their version of the RSPCA (White Cross). Both of these friends were guests at a Government ceremony to honour the work they were doing. There were 40 people there, only one didnt get COVID, my other friend.

You call it sensorship - I call it trolling and looking for a reaction. Either way, find somewhere else do to it.
