You needed to smooch up about a hundred runs ago.
It’s a flogging.
I was amused to hear Pat Cummins interview after one of our worst losses ever where he explained why the test players can't play the 3rd ODI
I thought it might be to play some redball cricket and tune up
NO -First week its go home and have some family time ( Pat has now played 2 days of cricket in months ) ?
2nd week get to Perth a week early and practise !
That's it !
I think CA has an obligation to put the best possible team on the park for every game although the way we played in the 2nd ODI makes me think they won't be missed anyway !

Most of these prove the age old point...shit gets wickets.
For those who said good riddance Warner it seems no obvious candidate saying I'm the one !
Harris gets 74 in 1st innings and a golden duck in the 2nd
Bancroft gets 3 in 1st innings and a golden duck in the 2nd
Konstas gets 3 in 1st innings and is 26 not out in the 2nd batting with Ollie Davies needing another 104 to win 7 wickets left
In terms of white ball cricket our new openers are a total failure so far

Nathan McSweeney in and Inglis into the squad as a reserve batsman/'keeper (and potentially gets selected in the middle order as a specialist batsman). Boland the reserve quick bowler, Neser recovering from a hamstring strain.

By picking Inglis I wonder if they are keeping the option of moving head or Labuschagne up the order? I wouldn't personally but they always talk about fitting the best 6 bats in the country in somehow.
