It would be cheaper to pay out Jason Taylors final two years than to get rid of Robbie.

I thought Taylor was the wrong appointment to begin with and still do, but i dont see theres anyway we can sack him we simply just dont have the cash.
I think the best thing that can be done at this point in time is compromise, give Robbie another season to adequately find another club he also gets his send off, he can go to England or what ever have his Orgin swansong.
Give Taylor another year to get his act together if he doesnt he can go as well, with only the one year to worry about with both Taylor and Farah it might work out finacially more viable to look at things during the course of the year.

Farah is not the problem in attracting a top coach - management, money, facilities and stability are the key. Compare what Hasler, Bennett, Bellamy Maguire, and Robinson have access to at their clubs compared to what we can offer?

Thirdly, cheapest option is not always the best option.

Thats correct, for a little bit more we could have hired a coach who was actually good at this job.

If Robbie and his manager wanted to to really sink the tigers as a club, he would put in a formal complaint with the NRL and the RLPA will back him to the tilt regarding the manner in which JT accused and threatened an employee - robbie.
All will be revealed in good time, but its safe to say - Tigers could sack JT on those grounds alone.
the cost would be 0.00

I see no one wants to touch this, would rather play the man these lot.

I think its a reality if the situation escalates. Hopefully doesnt come to that but if the board do end up looking at removing Taylor this may just be their out.

What did JT accuse and threaten Farah with?

He will playing NSW cup if he stays, if Farah was in form he can not possibly play NSW cup, that my friend would be work place discrimination, and any coach who new what he was doing would never have said that.

Accused him of not turning up every week and threatened him with reserve grade. Fist coach to ever do this.

I suspected that's the threat that was being alluded to, in which case, whether you agree with JT on that is another issue, but as a coach, its his prerogative isn't it?

Payten is the best personality fit for the young players.

Kimmorley would make a good first grade assistant.

Kidwell should be left right out.

Griffin's number should be blocked.

The Walker brothers could be an inspired choice given how this team likes to play its football. Id definitely interview them.

Brown would be solid, a low risk choice.

Bring in Todd, im a big fan of the big ball playing prop.. Todd Payten would bring back the attack plus he has coached of the players in the 20's, good fit

1) Overall I was very disappointed to see sheens go.
2) I accepted and moved on, I thought potter had the potential to do well though the board didn't resign him.
3) Jason Taylor no way and never wanted him has coach, the bloke is a boofhead.

Come on Todd if your reading come back.

Im sorry, i know everyone is entitled ti their opinion. …but....

Some of the coaching ideas are straight out of a comedy movie. Monty Python could have some of you guys in the writing department.

And really, please dont make out you are in 'the know' and 'just wait for the truth to come out because im on the inside' BS comments. If it makes you feel cool and important to say that, its having the opposite affect.

You know who you are. ..

Anyway, keep the ridiculous and crap coaching suggestions coming. we have still got plenty to suggest before we get to the Tregear Foxes u10-2's coach from 1978, who we all know us better than JT, right?

you can "attempt to fire up your team" by telling them they wont be in the A side on the weekend if they dont do this and that….....

you cant tell a player to Quit the club because you dont fit into my plans - regard;ess of your 2 remainings years contract - and if you do you wont be part of the team"

that is a threat - that as an employer you cannot make !

Sam Ayoub is a very very smart man.
once Taylor made that threat, he stood up and said the meeting is over.
(obviosuly a little more emotional than that)

some of you might now be wondering why or how is it that the coach of the NSW team came out with such a strong stance on this also.

Form is a matter of opinion. Mal and his superleague mates took the ARL to court for non selection in origin and lost.

It depends on the context though doesn't it? I'm trying to be fair to Robbie, so if he's saying ''no matter what'' i can see your point, but JT can always bring it back to Farah's form. No can prove JT is lying about what he thinks about a players form can they? Would set a precedent for the amount of players over the yrs languishing in lower grades who should have been given a crack in the top grade.

Spot on.

Its a very simple case of work place bullying, hasnt been tested in the sporting arena but this could well be the test case.

Its not your usual dropping of a player, its threatening to drop them regardless of form unless they leave the club.

Its enough to cancel Taylors contract at no cost.

Its enough for the NRL to step in and sanction the board.

Only if they weren't going to pay his contract. They're not threatening not to pay him.

Ayoubs testimony is the key in any potential case. This isnt conjecture, he was in the room when it happened and will attest to the nature of the comments.

And i did suspect Daleys comments might be a play by Ayoub.

Form is not a matter of opinion if your opinion is clouded by other factors - ie intense dislike

incorrect.
They still need to have grounds to terminate a contract regardless of whether they want to pay it out in full or not.

These are laws that apply to all businesses.
they can be looked up calrified but JTs actions gave Robbies manager a loaded gun or bazooka depending on if and who its pointed at.
