Rugby yeah nah this is just another stunt to make it look like he’s got other options at the moment, his manager needs to pull his head in.

I agree. I think it’s either he stays at the roosters or comes to us. Can’t see any other realistic options for him.

Today's Sunday Telegraph is saying that Titans are an option and he is meeting them this week. How they wrangle an offer to him would be very interesting.

They’d have to get rid of Arrow and possibly 1 or 2 more players. Would be a really stupid move from them but it is the Titans so anything’s possible.

Now I'm waiting for him to declare his dream of playing for the Dallas Cowboys..

Now that his good mate and adviser Mundine has officially retired (again), after being knocked out of the ring by another nobody, he could possibly announce a career in boxing with Anthony as his trainer and mentor.

Poor little Latrell, my heart bleeds. I hope his manager is remunerated well for taking the ‘fall guy’ role.
Seriously if you think he’a running some solo mission without Latrell’s consent then you must have been born yesterday.
Just face facts; Latrell is not interested and not man enough to call it, taking refuge in his manager’s shadow.

The gold coast would need to shed multiple players even with Arrow as he is still on his original 2017 contract. Cant see it happening unless they can trick clubs to sign multiple bad contacts.

He was a fringe first grader before he left the broncos . They weren’t shedding tears at his departure , that’s for sure .
He’s really come on , which is a real testament to himself . My point is his contract is not that great . I think you’d be surprised how much of a bargain the titans have him for this year .
Too bad they bought Proctor , James and Boyd at the very top of their worth . They are all on huge overs . And don’t forget Taylor is on over a Mil .
That’s well over 3.5 mil for those 4 .

John Wayne Parr is definitely not a nobody.
Just cos you are a casual sports fan or don't follow combat sports doesn't make what u say true.

JWP is a champion kickboxer and muay thai fighter and he's had like 12 boxing matches.
He's had over 100 fights in other teachings.

He's well known in the MMA community and highly respected.

Did u watch the fight? Mundine getting knocked outta the ring is a bit sensationalized... He was evading strikes well and slipped through the ropes. It was a close fight but Mundine did what a lot of boxing greats have done in the past and fought on for too long and took some Ls at the end of his career that might of been different in his prime.

Mundine is one of Australia's most successful athletes and all I've ever heard for years is people who don't even watch boxing or have the guts to get in a ring themselves talk down about him because they don't like him because he's outspoken or maybe because he's indigenous. But let me tell u... if u ever met Mundine, he'd embrace u with open arms. The guy would give you the time of the day and show u all the respect in the world.

I hated Mundine for years. Then I heard some stories about him from different people that had personal experiences with him, and it made me realise beneath the bravado and showmanship, he’s actually a pretty good guy. My father was saw him in a cafe on the Gold Coast, 10 or 15 years ago, and he got him to sign a napkin for me. It said “ you’re the man, but i’m the king”. I still have it.

What I find funny is how everyone who hates him, lets him get to them. He says and does the things he does to rile people up, and the people jump to his tune. If you hate him, ignore him. Starving him of attention is how you deal with him if you don’t like him.

Mundine was also a gifted basketball player in his youth. The Sydney kings had him doing some program if I recall correctly.

Chocs a good guy. Went clubbing a few times in the City, he was friends with my friends. Very humble guy, hangs out, drinks water and leaves before it gets crazy. Stand up guy

Yeah, as I wrote similarly elsewhere, Mundine is like a puppeteer, controlling those that easily hate remotely, whilst they roll the majority of the dollars in for him.

I saw his dad Tony fight and he was a true champion, he never won a world title but he fought the best there was .There was no way of avoiding the best in them days , seems nowadays they can fight the postman and be world ranked , back then you had WBA and WBC

Get a grip Demps.
Parr has only had two kickboxing bouts in the last two years (of which he lost both).
He hadn't stepped in a boxing ring for 16 years - YES, 16 YEARS.
Not exactly what you call a 'somebody' in the boxing world.
Pretty good kickboxer in his past and most probably made enough money to pay for his hip replacement (yes, he needs one) from his fight with Mundine ...so good luck to him in that respect.
As for commenting without knowing anything about boxing ... I've been to just about every big fight in Australia (including some of Mundine's).
Ringside on most occasions.
Mundine is not even the best boxer in his family.
As for him being such a wonderful guy?
Maybe so but he never seems to display it... and there's plenty of dills who are nice guys.

Exactly. Parr isn't a boxer. This should have been an easy win for Mundine. Mundines career in my opinion has been completely underwhelming.

He has also made money from his big talking where he deliberately says stuff that is extremely stupid at best.

I've also met him and he was a good guy.

I think it's a real shame that he wasn't more humble and that he hasn't fulfilled his potential. He could have been a great example to all Australians but he blew it.

The Titans have apparently upped their offer to Arrow, in an effort to keep him, so I don’t know how on earth they can even contemplate signing LM.

Have we upped our offer yet?
1.2 a year, 5years.
What a big difference he would make.
Give him What he wants.
Whatever's left, give to jac.
Top 4 spot, here we come

Let me run a hypothetical scenario past you....

Souffs make him an offer some time ago, perhaps even prior to Nov 1..(.gasp), perhaps around the time that Souffs favourite son and Relationships Australia ambassador says "my shoulder hurts". Latrell likes the offer and says yes.

I know its a bit of a stretched theory, but what do you think the result of that scenario would be?

* Roosters would pull offer if they caught wind of it.......tick
* Roosters would make a strange seemingly unprovoked comment that they would release him to anyone for 2020 except for Souffs because...you know...feuds.......tick.
* Latrell would seemingly meander around with seemingly half arsed efforts of contract negotiation without a care in the world.......tick.
* Latrell would knock back seemingly generous offers from other clubs, even when there seems to be a lack of other options.........tick
* Latrell and his management would poorly deal with Tigers management, Latrell was supposedly positive but then his managment just ignored Tigers.......tick.
* Souffs would STFU.......tick

What we actually know and looking on from the outside, what is going on with Latrell makes zero sense and the media and most people jump to the obvious conclusion that Latrell and/or his management are incompetent idiots without a clue. For me it makes more sense if something like what Ive said above is the case, then things make sense.
