It is when you have got about 15 players in your roster who wouldn’t get a gig at another good club. Why would I bag Madge when I have consistently said for years that management is the issue as they can’t assemble an NRL roster for any coach.

As I have told you before, more than 1 thing can be wrong at the same time and I am sorry to tell you that Madge is one of the things wrong at this club.

No you work on fixing the others as well, now is the time to fix the coach, not waste another year on someone who you need to replace anyway.

The board and admin issues need to be fixed, so does the roster, but those are going to take more time. The coach that actually has the defense getting worse needs to be replaced. Who would have thought that when we finished something like the last 10 games last year conceding at least 30 points a game that the defense would actually be worse this year? It is crazy to thinks about.

No they are being fed by people in the Tigers covering their tracks in the organisation. Like here it’s turned into a sack Madge discussion. Exactly what it’s designed to do. Distract from the ineptitude of people actually running the club.
People are diminishing the brand of the Tigers to cover their back sides and blaming the coach.

Maguire is the only person with his head on the chopping block to my knowledge so when some of the other stakeholders in our failure - and theee is more than one - are up for discussion then the blame shifting can be portioned more equitably.

Exactly. Any review that is looking at Madge is completely missing the point. Systemic problems that have been there longer than 3 years.
