Well said Tigersbusdriver. Cleary has really turned this club around. Some people want to live in fantasy land and **think JT would have been able to recruit as good as Cleary but they are dreaming.**

Nobody actually said **that**, its you interpretation only.
Youre actually agreeing with someones speculation..

I told you I'm not interested. Like most of the things you post on here it's meaningless and pointless. Now go away.

Not interested enough to reply… You still struggling with the concept of discussion.
TigersBusDriver guessed/speculated and you agreed... now THAT'S meaningless

No he had an opinion and I agreed on his opinion. Once again nothing to do with you because it wasn't your opinion.

I think we'll all have to wait until BP Tiger has a scooner with Moylan at his local to get a clear answer

Well, GNR suggested that the club's turnaround does not solely lie upon Cleary and his hardwork, but also the board. I agreed with GNR, and chose to add to my previous post that Cleary and the new board have rejuvenated the club. Consider our club's previous position when under Grant Mayer and JT, was I really speculating?

Mayer screwed us over with the cap, not Taylor. You can blame him for a lot during his tenure, but not attracting players isn't one of them. He simply didn't have the money. Cleary has had and its helped look like a million bucks in comparison.

Some six months back following reincarnation and bugger all has changed. The door could be beckoning again.

It's okay JT is gone and if he was still here the place would be a shambles. Must be so upsetting to admit it. If your so in love with him he'd happily take you at the roosters lol lol lol

I rest my case as you have just proven my point with a few laughing out louds to top of another irrelevant post.

Stick to the topic please guys and cut out the personal remarks against one another.

Apart from presiding over the hiring of IC( and others were probably more responsible in that case. What have they done, except shut up….come to think that's the best thing they could do for the club. Didn't Cleary say in the beginning that he was responsible over hiring and who was going. I'm pretty sure it was part of his signing. . I doubt he would be here if that wasn't a condition.

There's a guy wearing 7 for the Broncos on Friday night in a semi final who is signed with us for next year .

People rolled their eyes when he signed for the Broncos but there he is & we haven't played a semi final since he left either .

Just sayin' …

Exactly, better league minds than GNR like Sheens, McGregor and Bennett think Benji can cut it as a 7, in fact like you say Bennett the supposed guru is trotting Benji out in a qualifying final tomorrow night as starting halfback.
We at least have to try different options at 7, because Brooks after 4 years and 82 games is still not cutting it, look at how Eiso, Twal, Suli and the like excelled this year because they were given a go.
As for Moylan, 1 or 7 for us next year would be a great result, onwards and upwards from now on, no more wheel spinning and sliding backwards with poor players playing every week.

So Marshall has been successful as a halfback. Is that what you are really trying to say?

If it is a choice between Brooks and Marshall, then yes I take Benji, same goes Tui or Brooks, I take Tui, Moylan or Brooks, I take Moylan and I would even give Gamble a go in front of Brooks as well.
Brooks needs to go back to reggies and learn how a halfback plays, because he hasn't learnt in top grade.

I think Marshall proved tonight he is not the answer.

I thought Marshall was pretty good. One poor option at the end but overall he was really good. I think he is our best half on contract for next season.

We need another quality player or two but I'm not sure if Moylan is the answer.

I agree re Marshall. I thought he was good tonight and will be a very handy signing for us next season.

Agree. Best option for us by far. Kicking game alone gets him a start

It wasn't only Mayer, Humpty should shoulder a fair amount of the blame as well.

Benji last night was much like he has been since day one…rocks and diamonds. Still will be a good signing, but if you think he is going to be the X factor for us...think again. He will be a good mentor, good marketing tools, good injury cover for the 6 and 7 and just a good bloke to have around the club

Moylan to 1
Benji and Brooks in halves
Reynolds to 9
Lolohea - Utility off the bench

What about Liddle. I really wish we hadn't bought Reynolds or given him a 2 year deal only. Do you really think Reynolds will be better at 9 than Liddle ?

1\. Tui
7\. Brooks
6\. Benji - probably the more organising half out of him and Brooks.
9\. Reynolds

Liddle - as utility off the bench.

The problem is what a waste of money Reynolds will be and that is assuming Moylan doesn't come here. If Moylan does come then honestly Tui, Benji or Brooks should drop out completely.

Moylan ain't coming Mate!

Lolo at 1 (as it should be)
Reynolds 6
Brooks 7
Liddle 9
Benji 14

Gould will be trying to get Cooper Cronk to Penrith so Moylan to the Tigers is a possibility.

Depends if Cronk decides to play on but Gould will offer him a coaching gig off the back of his deal.
