No complaints if I'm dropped - Benji

He's made that decision quite easy for the coach , the board will be telling Potter what he should be doing about this , after the Video

This guys lost his marbles or he thinks we all have. Benji you are no longer up to NRL standard you had a club who was loyal enough to offer you fantastic money and all you want to do is talk in the media. Not many people care any more. Go to the airport and catch a plane to NZ.

Yeh post it all or link only…dont edit

Hes upset people are saying 'he doesnt care'....says 'he does care'

Doesnt sound like he cares if he's saying he'll just stand aside if they wanna drop him, play the young blokes.

Theres no hunger, desire....you dont care benji...dont try and tell us you do. Its evident to RL fans.....some have been watching the game for decades...they see players that dont give a shit.....they see players that do, its easy to tell the difference

Just piss off now

He prob says the same thing about fans to mark.

Probably….he can say it to Matthew, Luke and John **_TOO_** for all I care

But he forgets without the fans, he is NOTHING.

His problem is he listens to the fans...thats something a so- called professional should never do

Jack Gibson said ''If you start listening to the fans, next thing you'll be sitting with them"

(Jack Gibson was a RL legend of the 60s, a ground breaking coach of the 70s & 80s)

Your lesson for the day

He sooked after being benched so one must assumed it mattered to him.

He now does not care if he is dropped.

If you extrapolate the attitude it must mean he doesn't really care anymore.

Very diplomatic, and I think he spoke from the heart. just like he did in that farewell video.

I've thought he looked like he was trying this year, saw him swearing profusely after an error of someone elses (i think) in the 1st half last night. it was a zoomed out thing of the ground but he wasn't happy. Things just have not been working for him, and he's being playing poorly. No doubt. But he still loves the club and wants to do well.

Good luck, i'll miss the memories of the good years. Probably forget the bad ones over time to be honest.

Yep. Benji has been trying his guts out and basically 100% of the stuff written about him on here is crap. Great guy. Great supporter of the Tigers. A once great player who has been our best player for a couple of seasons but who is now in reality past it.

forget marshall, he was 'okay' on the weekend. what about braith anasta !!! that scum's contract needs to be terminated ! at any other club, he would not even be nsw cup level, in fact probably a few grades lower than that, please just retire, braith has beyond woeful all year, i would drop him over marshall any day !!

i dont get some people.. what do we possibly have to gain with kicking benji and braith out?

we cant put brooks in coz of the cap, sirro's injured- there's no point in doing that.

if anything, tigers might look like the bad guys by not letting benji have his "fairytale" finish. he knows it and we know it- the more games he plays, the more mediocre he looks. benji should be dropping himself if anything.

This is how I see it too. We can't make the finals, we're copping a hiding most weeks, he now has $1mil coming his way over the next 2 years, I suspect his missus will make another couple of hundred thou on top of that…life is peachy and it's good bye to the Wests Tigers.

Probably one thing Benji needs to understand is he might be remembered for his truly greats deeds , but by many Tigers fans he will be remembered for what happens over the next month

I know it sounds crazy but I'm going out to the SFS next Monday night to support the Wests Tigers in a game I don't expect them to win however I am hoping that Benji will stand up and play hard for the club he loves and his mates in his team as per the article. If Benji can do all he can to work with his team mates to keep Wests Tigers in the game and minimise our deficit in for and against and keep Wests Tigers further away from the wooden spoon then it will be worth going to support the team. Come on Benji lead the way and get Blake in a headlock and push him as well.

Ta ta Marshal, you need not lace your ruby league boots anymore. Give the younger guys a chance to get use to NRL.

this is so true.
leave with on a good note and always be welcome, or bad terms and never be welcome.
**only person who can control this is benji himself.**

It's disgusting reading all this crap Benji gets from our own fans.

He's pissed me off for the last couple of seasons as much as any of you. But I believe Benji when he says he loves the club, and I believe he TRIES his best - unfortunately though his best is way past it. You can't blame him for that, you can drop him… but that's not his fault/decision to make.

I have so much respect for Benji. The fact he refuses to sign for a rival NRL club and play against the Tigers proves his loyalty. He has brought so much to the club during his time.

He may have lost it, but I sure hope he can find it at the Blues.

is he really playing that badly?

from the little i saw, he had a fair go

Sure, give the young blokes some time , but from what I have seen lately( admittedly not much) , if anyone was going to be dropped maybe Anasta would be ahead of Benji

I read his latest article, he was , as usual honest and fair

If you haven't figured it out there are some really weird people on here.

He isn't playing that badly and he is really having a dig. As usual he represents the club well.

To be fair to the weirdos he probably shouldn't have posed in the Blues jumper and he probably should have gotten rid of that weirdo manager that he has. He is also not the player that he once was.
