@ said:Who is off contract that can kick goals well but plays wing or Centre , Fullback , we will need a kicker .
If Moses goes early we can use Rankin at 5/8 and kick but next season with Josh on his way here ?
Gordon.

@ said:Everyone is saying we need a goal kicker but I remember hearing that goal kicking duties ( before Moses was appointed goal kicker ) was going to be between Moses and brooks, and I remember he used to kick goals in under 20's so maybe they aren't looking for a goal kicker cause brooks will take over ??

Good finisher on his day
On his day yes. I'd prefer Fonua though, I think he has more upside.
@ said:@ said:@ said:@ said:I posted today about a friend who's linked with the Roosters had sent me a message today and said that he was sorry about what would happen in about the next 10 minutes. Sure enough the Tedesco saga unfolded and became official soon after. I gave him a bit of stick about how they fit him in their salary cap. I asked who they're letting go to fit him in threw the names Guerra, Evans (had been announced already to Eels, Fergo, SKD and Gordon out there being the obvious ones, but asked if Mitchell and Watson would now leave because they're stuck behind better players. For what it's worth he said all the above names I mentioned were bang on except Mitchell (who I'd love to steal). Apparently he really enjoys playing at centre. Personally, I think he'll want to go to fullback sooner rather then later as he can earn more money at fullback and he's likely overpaid as a centre so Roosters may push him out with a healthy and firing Tedesco. He said Watson probably won't stay and I'd absolutely love to get him.
SKD has an offer from Newcastle, around $500k, but he has many property investments in the eastern suburbs so prefers to stay with the Roosters for as little as $200k-$250k if they make the offer.
Last I heard is Guerra is likely to Titans and Fergo back to Cronulla
Where did you here this??last you herd from where??
A work colleague, he is heavily involved with the Rorters, knows George Mimis and attends a lot of Rorters functions. His Rorters info is usually spot on.
Told me Tedesco signed with them around April 3, haven’t spoken to him in just over a week so the info is more than a week old.

That would be a great result, would mean we don't have to put someone in just for goal kicks, ala Rankin.

Being a confidence player I don't think Brooks needs any extra responsibilities or added pressure that will get his confidence down.. at this stage tho the options are limited.

Hayne is a pipe dream and is likely to stay on the GC, he wouldn't come here for less than a million bucks so that's a ridiculous situation for the Tigers to put themselves in. Moylan was a complete smokescreen, no substance to that rumour at all. TMM was considered if he could secure a release from Penrith for this season but we then signed Reynolds, so TMM then became pointless. Milford? Likely to stay in Brisvegas.
I wouldn't discount Packer yet though.

Dugan pretty much declined the 850p.a offer from the Dragons today on twitter. If the Dogs offer big money we will miss on Packer and Milne.
