Tedesco vows to live up to hype at Raiders

Wrong - First impression was that the club did not want to keep him. His not on very much money this year and the club offered him less for next year than what he earns this year.

lol.. didnt happy say he was offerred 375K for next year? if he was on 400K this year- then whoever signed his last contract should get his balls chopped off.

Tedesco is a kid. He just wants to play football, and make a living doing it. He's taking advice from, and being pressured by, some major players as far as experienced manipulators are concerned. I'm not usually much of a conspiracy theorist, but if they're worth their salt, those angling for the Canberra option would have timed things well to try to get Teddy's signature while Woods and Farah (some of his close confidantes) were away. I believe it was deliberate timing.
I don't think he'll do it twice. I think for theses reasons they need an official cooling off period to buffer the young kids in such big business dealings. Trust is trust. Trust that not everyone you trust has your best interests at heart.

I can tell you the same comments that Robbie said was repeated on a few occasions

When he had Ayoub and the advice from other players and his family the last thing he needed was my advice

Mate I was the last person to take advice from , I was 17 believed a handshake deal I had was a deal and then when I turned around a few months later to accept the back payments the club reneged on the deal (It was probably $400 maximum  ) in match payments

I think its pretty obvious Teddy shouldn't listen to you - just joking.

The thing is Teddy might have felt that way but it doesn't make it true. To add to that listen to the players and Potter talk - they really wanted him to stay. I'm sure you saw my reaction and I'm pretty sure there were plenty of fans feeling the same as me. We wanted him to stay.

My point is that its easy to lay blame at Mayer but its not necessarily his fault.

Anyway its turned out for the best and I'm looking forward to seeing him out there this weekend. I wasn't looking forward to it at all if he was leaving. I just hope that the club does the right thing by him with his current contract.

Steve , even at 1.00 am last Tuesday morning he wasn't sure who he was going to sign with , but still wanted to stay a Tiger

He always wanted to stay a Tiger

And it may not have happened the way we wanted it to happen , but when you get a par in golf you don't have to draw a picture of how you got it

We got a par (And Moltz and Benj are still in the bunker )

330 k in 2015

Yes Happy that may have been the final figure 120k - 130k more than what he currently earns in 2014.
The point is when negotiations started he was offered less…LESS than what he currently receives.
Who in their right mind would offer someone less than what they are currently receiving ?
If that doesn't give the impression that you are not wanted I don't know what does.

Can you stop acting like you have some sort of insider information? Earlier in another thread a user posted:

Teddy had two choices, the easy one was to stay in a place where you comfortable in your surroundings and had a lot of friends. The hard one was to up and leave and head off to another club. So with this in mind Iam not sure all was well with Teddy and the Tigers. Okay their was obviously the money factor, but I still think their was a problem somewhere that pushed him out the door. Now the problem might have been his problem or the clubs problem, we will probably never know

You responded "Seriously you could possibly be the most smartest man on this forum"

The fact that Tedesco could not bring himself to leave just shows the user was incorrect. Which means you were entirely wrong.

So please, please, please stop acting like you have inside information beyond that which you've gleaned from attaching yourself to the inside of other users' colons.

The smart man said "I still think their was a problem somewhere that pushed him out the door." That's what I agreed with.

The fact that Tedesco couldn't bring himself to leave does not mean that someone at the club wasn't trying to push him out the door.

Even Gus Gould mentioned it tonight. Tedesco was made to feel unwanted. Farah has also said the same.
