I get that lots here are happy to see him go but I can’t help think there’s a silent majority who’d like him to go around again
I appreciate everyone’s reasoning but I feel there is a case for both sides
This forum is a microcosm of the greater fan base. I think it'd be more skewed on here toward seeing him go. If you look at the WT facebook page, I'd say somewhere around 90% of fans want him to stay on.
That’s because people are blinded by nostalgia . Father Time is undefeated , and his defence is shocking . Not because he’s lot committed , or soft or any other rubbish , but mainly because he’s missing that step , that a fast guy turned slow expects to be there .
He’s not my favourite tiger, but he’s right up there. There’s a real lack of honesty from people including benji
His defence isnt just poor misses and getting shrugged off, I noticed a lot last night he struggles to get the ball runner to the ground, he seems content on just holding them till someone else comes or till it’s called held. Not good for us when the opposition can get high post contact and quick play the balls.
It’s that initial contact for me . There’s no spring there anymore. There’s no bite , usually because he’s dealing with a rangy back rower or centre who creates some deception so it makes him to move quickly . It’s clearly gone . It’s as obvious as daylight to me . And he had it as soon as last year .
