Teams they play once: Raiders, Storm, Bulldogs, Broncos, Knights, Warriors

Starting point: It starts off with two Sunday games, the first against the Rabbitohs at ANZ Stadium in the final match of Round 1 followed by a visit from the Panthers to Campbelltown Stadium.

Tough run: Thankfully for Tigers fans there's no real cluster of gruelling away trips or back-to-back games against heavyweights likes Melbourne, Brisbane and North Queensland all piled together. A visit from the Storm to Leichhardt in Round 4 is soon followed by a long trek to Townsville in Round 6 before backing it up in an Easter Monday showdown against the Eels in Round 7 which will provide an early tester.

Show-stoppers: That Easter Monday clash in Round 7 is sure to draw plenty of interest while the final regular season fixture will be against the Warriors at Leichhardt Oval. Given how entertaining meetings between those two clubs are, that will be a massive finish if both teams are still in finals contention at that stage.

Origin impact: (Byes: Round 12 and 18.) The Tigers only have a Round 15 game with the likes of Aaron Woods and James Tedesco away on Blues duty and that comes against a Cronulla side likely to be missing some big guns of their own.

Not a bad draw. We play 4 of last years top 8 twice. Wouldn't have been good to get 2 games against either Newcastle or warriors though.

Only complaint is the home game split. Well that and no trip down here to AAMI grr

Surely Cronulla at Campbelltown and Easts at Leichhardt make more sense?

Otherwise they got the splits right. Penrith at the old girl was stupidity.

The best time to play the better sides is early as every game is a lottery for the first month. I think both Cambo and LO got some good quality games. As for being a hard draw, any draw is a hard draw in the NR and at this stage we have no idea who the improvers or the sliders will be.

Like most teams, if we get a good run with injuries we will do okay, but if Teddy or Moses get a long injury we are in trouble

Outstanding draw,good amount of Sunday FTA games …Campbo and LO should draw big crowds if the team is performing well...I really think we are going to be competitive this year,although many insist that the squad isn't all that good,we could unearth some great talent this year...Ballin tutoring Liddle,Idris helping the young guys and filling a centre position that has been needed badly,ET resigning and the inclusion of a couple of young talented players from the NYC.....sounds exciting to me,but I will watch with hope of an incredible seasons performance from coaching through to players......BRING IT ON BROTHER'S AND SISTER'S....WESTS TIGERS ...NOW AND FOREVER... :sign: :supporter:

play like the seasons on the line, because it will likely be decided in the first 8 weeks. we cant afford to be anything less than 3-5 which isnt easy:

Rabbitohs, Panthers, Raiders, Storm, Dragons, Cowboys, Eels, Bulldogs

we can beat souths, dragons and then maybe 1 of the other teams.

i think we play brisbane during origin again though so thats nice

I reckon we can beat all of those teams. We should beat souths, dragons, eels & bulldogs. Panthers at Campbelltown & Storm at Leichhardt too. Would be happy with at least 4-4

Agree that the first couple of months are crucial. Our start this year killed us. 2-8 after 10 rounds… :/
