Thats kinda my point. I dont know if he s real or fake, I think fake, but you actually asked him to elaborate on his JR post which makes no sense if you think NSG is fake and continues the thread clogging.

We've signed Farah and Marshall for 1 year deals before so we've got form in this area. I wouldnt put it past us.

Signing guys in their 30’s to 1 year deals because you want to reassess them at the end of the season and signing a 22 year old whose won premierships and an incumbent Kangeroo is apples and oranges.

Yeah, one can play at a high evel and the others were well past it.

Imagine a sports star using a team. Unheard of. Tigers have about 1.6mil to spend for 2020. Spend it. 2020 with trel at fullback is better than 2020 with Mbye at fullback. Worry about the rest later.

Imagine a team being dumb enough to allow a sports star to flagrantly use them and turn them into a laughing stock halfway house.

What happened with Matterson this year was pretty well just that, whereas to the contrary in the other circumstance, the club also controls the narrative.

Like everyone on here, I know some people and have heard some things as well - I'm local I know some guys. - it just doesn't add up for me. Having said that I don't want to discourage anyone from posting and genuinely apolagise if I have earlier. Everyone's a bit fed up with the lack of real news; let's put it down to that and continue the civil dialogue.

Like everyone on here, I know some people and have heard some things as well - I'm local I know some guys. - it just doesn't add up for me. Having said that I don't want to discourage anyone from posting and genuinely apolagise if I have earlier. Luckily, I am a lot more relaxed on this than many and yes, conversation should always remain civil. Also, whilst I have absolutely zero current knowledge and was not commenting on the veracity of the @new-smoking-gun posts, just that he reads as the same person.

Agree. Plus There are a multitude of other reasons why souths may seem a more attractive option unfortunately

They better be quick & crafty. They'll need
to sign Codey Walker and a forward replacement for Sam Burgess. I think LM is a pipe dream. Nick Politis will not be made to look like fool by releasing LM to Souths.

Why should this media report hold any more weight than all the others before it? It is a news story to generate interest. We have always thought that LM would prefer to play with South's and no doubt his manager would have explored that possibility weeks ago and know there position. This story is just another story.
LM will sign with someone and the media will find out about the same time everyone else will. In the meantime there will be more speculative stories to drive everyone nuts.

If he is negotiating I doubt he would state a preferred destination before receiving offers. Even his manager can’t be that dumb, no wait he did manage to get every offer to his client pulled.....
