Did I read somewhere that LM has a meeting with Tigers this Monday or Tuesday?
Can anyone confirm this or is it just another rumour / hope

It is a Joke but NRL will alway look after the fav clubs… E,g, Burgess decision so quick.

I don't know how people say this, does everyone forget that the very same NRL cut the Rabbits from the comp for 2 years?

But suddenly Rabbits are in favour with NRL?

That was 20 years ago jirskyr! How can you even compare them? It's a totally different administration with a totally different agenda.

I think the hard part about being a Tigers fan is , we watch the favouritism to the top clubs , and , correct me if I’m wrong , we all find it really hard to watch , because on Paper we should be right there with them .
We really should be at the very top , with the amount of supporters , A truely generational talent in Benji , and from my count if we get rozelle off the ground , 5 functioning leagues clubs . I understand the frustration , but I truely feel the tide is turning , and until then we will always have a chip on our shoulders .

Well then we have to work harder to become one of those "Top" clubs.

I think you’re both right . They sucked 20 years ago to almost epic proportions. But they have built themselves up to a position now where they are valued , even feared. It’s a real testament to Rusty and Holmes a Court. My point is it ebbs and flows , and even the Broncos don’t weild the power they once did .
For instance I don’t see them being able to stop a second Brissy team from being successful , like they did with the crushers.
This is behind the scenes sure , but it begins on the field .
We just have to elevate ourselves , and , from what I can tell over the years , when it happens it tends to happen overnight , without warning .
There’s no steady flow , it’s just a huge leap up or a huge leap down . Just ask the Dragons .

Don’t know how true it is but I’ve read it from a few separate people on Twitter. Take it with a grain of salt though.

From his interview, I took it that he’s bored of centre, wants a challenge, considers himself a fullback..based on that, I don’t think he’ll be at roosters come 2020..it’s ur or Souths.

That was pre-Crowe, before they had money and influence, before they had James Packer in their corner. It's the influence the NRL bows to.

Latrell Mitchell interview

What was the motivation for this to be shown on the NRL site?

Clickbait

Nrl.com is a media site that’s earns the nrl money and provides a vehicle for their own comms that traditional media wouldn’t give the same coverage too.

It is there to make money

Exactly. Questions as to why we aren't one of the top clubs should be aimed at our admin, not the NRL.

Mate,Don't do that ! The whole quote is about being positive , and getting on board with the direction the tigers are headed. You're issue with the administration , are not mine .

It was a very different NRL to the one that is running the game now.

I am surprised you have not noticed,

Greenburg a crook.

Has it escaped the notice of this forum that Latrell's offer from the Rorters was withdrawn the day after he turned up at training driving a brand of car that Uncle Nick doesn't sell?

Is Uncle Nick that petty? YES! It's that simple.

Wasn’t the same NRL, wasn’t the same Souffs.

You can say that every single season.
